“Hilarity for Charity” in Final Stages - Event Less Than One Week Away

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – A truly unique night of fun and guaranteed laughs is quickly approaching. The Green Foundation is proudly presenting “Hilarity for Charity”, to support Michael Waltrip’s “OPERATION MARATHON” benefiting the Victory Junction Gang Camp.

The event will take place this Monday night, Oct. 18, at the Comedy Zone located at the corner of 8th and College Streets in Charlotte, North Carolina. The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. Light hors d’oeuvre’s and soft drinks will be served.

The evening, a first in the sport of NASCAR, brings together the superstars of the track with one of the brightest stars of the comedic stage. NASCAR’s Michael Waltrip, Jeff Green, Mark Green, and others will join forces with world famous comedian Killer Beaz in a night to laugh for a cause.

Beaz will highlight the event with his all-star standup performance during a night that will also include a live and silent auction to help raise money for “OPERATION MARATHON.” “OPERATION MARATHON” encourages NASCAR fans across the country to support the Victory Junction Gang Camp through the running of the 39th Las Vegas Marathon on Jan. 30.

“I have had a lot of people come up to me and ask me about this event,” said Green Foundation co-founder Jeff Green. “It’s going to be exciting and a whole lot of fun for a good cause. We’ve put a lot of work into this night, and it’s approaching fast. We’re looking forward to having a great crowd join us for a really good time.”

Green Foundation’s Mark Green added, “This event has really come up quickly. I think there has been a lot of anticipation from everyone. It’s going to be such a different, and fun event, that I think people are really excited. We have had the golf tournament, and other events in the past, but I think this event has people really talking.”
