Mark Green Gains Sponsorship in Nashville From the Predators

Mooresville, N.C. (April 7, 2006) - Biagi Bros. Racing announced today that the National Hockey League’s Nashville Predators will support Mark Green’s efforts to win the coveted Sam Bass designed Gibson Guitar trophy next weekend when the NASCAR Busch Series hits Music City, USA for 225 laps of racing excitement at Nashville Superspeedway.

“I’m really excited about having the Nashville Predators onboard next weekend,” said Green.  “I’ve always been a fan of hockey so I’m keyed up about the race in Nashville.  I finished 12th at Nashville in 2002, so hopefully we’ll be able to build on that and get a win for the Predators!”

In an initiative aimed at increasing awareness and ticket sales for the Nashville Predators, the No. 4 Dodge will carry a special paint scheme complete with the Predators saber-toothed tiger on the hood and the Predators navy blue, white, and yellow colors emblazoned down the sides of the No. 4 Dodge Charger.

"Race fans and hockey fans like some of the same things--high speed action and contact. We're thrilled to be involved with and represented by the Biagi Bros. Racing team at the upcoming race at the Nashville Superspeedway. We wish Mark Green the best of luck!" says Gerry Helper, the Predators Senior Vice President of Communications and Development.

The theme for Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR Busch Series race is "Cars, Stars and Guitars” and Green hopes to grab a guitar of his own by winning one of the most identifiable trophies on the circuit, a Sam Bass designed Gibson Guitar.  The guitar was recently named one of the Top-10 trophies in the country by ESPN magazine.

Green will help promote the Predators at their game against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night, April 13th at the Gaylord Entertainment Center located at 501 Broadway in Nashville, Tenn.  Green’s show car will be on display and he will be on hand to sign autographs from 6-7 p.m.
